Toronto: A woman named Agnesa Shukulli tragically passed away after her car went into Lake Ontario. She was just 25 years old and had moved to Canada from Albania in late 2021.

Agnesa was remembered as a warm and caring person by her colleagues at Serrano Bakery, where she worked. A GoFundMe page set up in her memory highlights how she touched the lives of everyone around her.

Her friend Kristian Paksu shared that Agnesa was a loving daughter and sister, always making people feel special. The fundraiser aims to help bring her body back to Albania, and it has already raised over $68,000.

In a sad twist, a 23-year-old man from Oakville has been charged with dangerous driving causing death. He was in the car with Agnesa when it went into the lake. While he managed to escape, rescuers had to pull her from the vehicle.

Agnesa was taken to the hospital but sadly didn’t survive. Her colleague Evangelos Dzanos described her as someone who always had a smile and made everyone’s day better.

He mentioned that losing her feels like losing a part of themselves, and everyone at the bakery is struggling to process this heartbreaking news.
