Etobicoke: Big news for lottery players! The Ontario Lottery and Gaming Corporation (OLG) just announced that a ticket worth a whopping $60 million was sold in Etobicoke. This is the first major Lotto Max win of 2025, and it’s got everyone buzzing.

The winning numbers from the draw on January 21 were 13, 15, 21, 35, 36, 42, 47, plus the bonus number 38. If you bought a ticket, you might want to check it again!

But that’s not all. An Encore ticket worth $1 million was also sold in Dufferin County. Last year was a record-breaking one for Ontario, with 11 jackpot wins totaling $525 million.

By mid-October, there were eight consecutive winners from Ontario. One couple from Owen Sound won $40 million, sharing an $80 million jackpot with a retired gym teacher from Quebec.

Another couple celebrated their $70 million win in August 2024, just after welcoming a new baby. And a woman from Ottawa won $70 million in May after her left hand itched while checking her ticket.

The next Lotto Max draw is on Friday, with a jackpot of $15 million up for grabs. Tickets are just $5 each, and draws happen every Tuesday and Friday. Good luck to all the players out there!
