Toronto rapper Top5, recently cleared of murder, faces new gun charges after a police investigation.
Toronto: So, here’s the scoop. Toronto rapper Hassan Ali, known as Top5, just got arrested again. This time, it’s for gun-related charges. Can you believe it?
He was taken in during a police operation in Markham. They were looking into firearms, and he ended up in cuffs. Top5 is facing five charges, including possession of a weapon.
Another guy, Yasin Ali, also got arrested and is dealing with similar charges. The police haven’t shared much about what led to this, though.
Remember, Top5 was cleared of murder charges last September. That was linked to a shooting back in 2021. A judge tossed out key evidence, which is why he walked free.
While he was waiting for that trial, he even shot a music video from jail. In it, he raps about his past with guns. It’s wild how things have turned out for him.
