Toronto: For the first time in 125 years, Toronto has a dedicated app for its underground PATH system. This app is a game changer for anyone trying to find their way through the maze below the city.

The PATH has been around since 1900 and stretches over 30 kilometers. But until now, there was no real way to navigate it. That’s where engineer Jadiel Teofilo comes in. He moved to Toronto three years ago and quickly realized how tricky it was to get around down there.

Teofilo spent eight months creating a detailed map of the PATH. His app shows over 170 entry points, complete with photos, so users can easily find their way. You can even switch between inside and outside views to see exactly where to go.

He teamed up with a friend in Brazil to make sure the app would help people stay warm and dry while getting around. Teofilo remembers a freezing day when he had to walk outside just to find his way.

Now, the app is available for iPhone users on the App Store, and there are plans to make it accessible for Android users in the future. It’s all about making life easier for those living or visiting downtown Toronto.
