Apparently, the trouble started when the Ford government changed contracts with suppliers last September. It’s been a mess, and Ontario Health atHome admitted that some patients faced issues with deliveries.
They did say that anyone who had to pay out of pocket because of these delays will be reimbursed, which is a bit of good news. Premier Ford is promising to sort this out, and the new budget has set aside $2 billion over three years to boost home and community care services.
