A Hamilton father missed the birth of his child due to a stolen SUV and phone, leaving him unable to reach the hospital in time
It all went down on January 14. The guy left his Honda CRV running while he went to pick up his other kid from daycare. That’s when some thieves decided to make off with his car and all his stuff.
Meanwhile, his wife was in the hospital dealing with some complications. She tried to call him but couldn’t reach him since he had no phone. So, she had to call a neighbor to come help her out.
By the time he got to the hospital, it was too late. His wife had already had emergency surgery, and their baby was born. The police said it was a real bummer that he missed such a big moment.
Later, the cops found the stolen SUV with six teens inside, including two who were hiding in the trunk. They’re all facing charges now, and it looks like this isn’t the first time they’ve been in trouble.
