The game was exciting, with the Leafs pulling ahead early. Nylander scored first, and even though Tampa’s Nick Paul answered back, Knies quickly restored the lead. The Leafs have now beaten the Lightning three times in a row this season, which is impressive.
In the third period, both teams traded goals, but the Leafs held on tight. Marner sealed the deal with an empty-net goal, making sure the victory was theirs. It was a solid performance, and the team is looking good as they lead the Atlantic Division.
