Four young suspects were arrested in Toronto after a series of carjackings and robberies, leaving the community shaken and police on high alert.
Two masked dudes rolled up in a stolen car, demanded cash, and even assaulted an employee. They made off with some cash and goods before disappearing. Fast forward two weeks, and on January 20, things got even crazier.
Around 8 p.m., in the Kipling Avenue and Rexdale Boulevard area, four suspects in a stolen Toyota Rav 4 crashed into a victim’s car. One of them jumped out, yanked the victim out, and another pulled a gun. They hopped into the victim’s car and took off, leaving chaos behind.
Later that night, they hit another store in the Steeles Avenue West and Weston Road area, again wearing masks and brandishing guns. Luckily, the police were quick on the scene and arrested all four suspects.
They found a loaded gun and some other evidence too. The group includes two 16-year-olds from Brampton and Southgate, plus two 15-year-olds from Toronto and Brampton. They’re facing some serious charges, including robbery with a firearm.
Oh, and both stolen cars were recovered, so that’s a bit of good news. It’s a wild situation, and the community is definitely on edge right now.
