Ontario is bracing for extreme cold, with wind chills hitting -40 in some areas until Wednesday
The warnings stretch from Lake Huron to Georgian Bay, and it looks like this cold snap will stick around until Wednesday. If you’re near Lake Superior, you might catch a break on Tuesday, but it’s still going to be chilly.
In Toronto and the Greater Toronto Area, we’re not under any specific warnings right now, but brace yourself for some of the coldest temps we’ve seen in years. Wind chills could dip between -20 and -25.
And don’t forget, the weather agency has also issued a snow squall warning for Northern Huron County. They’re expecting 30 to 60 centimeters of snow by Wednesday.
Stay safe out there! The extreme cold can be dangerous, and frostbite can happen in just a few minutes if you’re not careful. Keep warm and bundle up!
