Vancouver Island’s beloved marmot Violet is ready to predict the weather this Groundhog Day
Vancouver: Vancouver Island’s favorite weather-predicting marmot, Van Isle Violet, is gearing up for her big moment on February 2. She’s got a perfect track record, having seen her shadow for three years in a row, which means she’s predicted six or more weeks of winter each time.
