These little yellow boxes have been around for ages, originally made by the Lowney Company before Hershey took over in the ’80s. They’ve been produced in places like Montreal and Smith Falls, but it’s unclear where they’re made now or if this change will affect jobs.
People are feeling nostalgic, and some are going to great lengths to grab a few before they’re gone. One guy even drove 180 km just to get some for his mom, who loves them. He shared his story on X, saying he wanted to bring her a sweet distraction during tough times.
So, if you’re a fan of Cherry Blossoms, you might want to hit the stores soon. They’re still available in select places, but who knows how long that will last? Better stock up while you can!
