When he saw the winning amount, he felt surprisingly calm. “I had to count the zeroes a few times,” he joked while collecting his prize.
His first win helped him buy a house and a car, which he still enjoys. This time, though, he’s got a different game plan. Instead of splurging, he’s thinking about investing.
“I want to look into real estate, stocks, and bonds,” he said. “I’m feeling very focused this time around.” Plus, he’s considering a family reunion overseas.
He bought his winning ticket at a 7-Eleven in Calgary, matching all six numbers: 20, 22, 23, 36, 46, and 47. His win shows that sometimes, luck really does strike twice for those who play the lottery.
