Toronto: A wild scene unfolded in Moss Park. A 32-year-old man is in trouble after crashing a stolen Hummer into police cars. This happened Thursday night, just after 10 p.m.

Police tried to pull him over, but he rammed into several cruisers instead. A video shows the Hummer surrounded by police while officers approached with guns drawn.

Witness Chelsea Bradshaw described it as “insane.” She and her neighbors watched as the Hummer sped by, saying it felt like a movie. Thankfully, no one got hurt.

The man now faces eight charges, including theft and assaulting an officer. He was supposed to appear in court for a bail hearing Friday morning.

Interestingly, the police association mentioned he was out on bail and has a long criminal record. However, CBC Toronto couldn’t confirm this.

The police are pushing for bail reform, saying this guy shouldn’t be on the streets. Ontario’s Transportation Minister echoed those calls, urging the federal government to fix the bail system.
